Let’s Change: Possible Risks & Resistance

Ideally everyone would see the benefits to creating a true democracy and a free market society.  We would peacefully, collaboratively and democratically enact this massive change together.  There is a risk the owners and some of our peers would be resistant to change.  The owners, of course, can order the military and law enforcement agents to try to stop change via physical violence.  Also the owners could order an impact to the supply chain - withholding energy, food, water, medicine…We would need to brace for the possibility of some volatility during the change process.

While the owners can say they want physical violence to be done by the military and law enforcement - it is the soldiers and agents ,our peers, who would actually have to carry out the violence.  A leader can call for bombs to be dropped but a person has to actually fly the plane and drop the bomb.  The PEOPLE with the guns, planes, bombs, tanks will have to decide if they want to kill their family and friends to maintain the power structure for the owners or if they want to join a free society themselves and never have to kill anyone again. The people running the jails would actually have to lock people up or decide to join the side of health and prosperity by enacting a new order.

Like generations of change makers before us we may have to accept facing some physical violence and death to enact the change we see as being a healthier way of life for ourselves, our children and our children’s children.  This hopefully would be short lived if it happens at all.  We marvel and celebrate the revolutionary wars of the past. We don’t want war. We don’t want anyone to hurt. We just want freedom and a healthy life for us and everyone. War may be necessary to make change but we don’t have to use guns. If we simply do nothing - go on a full strike - that will make change. If we just stop participating in their money world it can’t exist without our belief and participation in it. We can fight without anyone losing or hurting.

The owners can also order power to be turned off, water to be shut off, supplies needed for life to not be delivered.  Once again the owners don’t actually do the work of creating and sending out any of these things - we do.  The PEOPLE who currently keep all these essential life elements flowing would have to decide if they want to deny their family and friends food, water, energy, goods and medicine to maintain the owners power or if they want to make a free and healthy life for themselves and their peers.  The owner doesn’t actually create or distribute anything - we do.  We can keep creating and distributing, regardless of what they say or do. We take ownership of our work and continue to provide for ourselves and the communities we serve.

We may need to prepare to adapt to living very primitively during the transition if the owners are very determined to maintain our existing financial structure and enough of our peers don’t see the value of freedom.  We may need to rely on rain barrels, rivers, lakes, firewood, local gardening and foraging.  We may need to move to building and sharing locally sourced energy, food, clothes… This would be the worst case scenario and wouldn’t last very long as if all of us stop engaging in work for them - their power will cease to exist.

They have nothing without us.

There are billions of us to their thousands.

We can create a healthy life for us all whether they want us to or not with collaboration and courage.

We deserve better.

We deserve peace.

We deserve health.

We deserve freedom.

We deserve a true free market society.

We can make healthy change.

See you at the park.
